Reading is a great way to become a better woodworker outside of the shop. You can take a book on vacation, lay down in a hammock at the beach and still advance your woodworking skills. It does not save you from practicing but makes the learning process so much faster.
Here you find my favorite woodworking books as well as a few books from adjacent fields. Check out my reviews and see if the book is right for you.
52 Boxes in 52 Weeks – Matt Kenney
Crushing It! – Gary Vaynerchuk
Making Time – Bob Claglett
The why and how of woodworking – Michael Pekovich
