Description
Straight bits without a basic cutting edge are ideal for routing grooves, rebates and joints in wood, plastic or other materials. They enable precise and clean cuts for joints, recesses or decorative profiles. All straight bits here are designed for 8 mm collets and can therefore be used in both trim routers and larger routers. All grooving cutters have 2 cutting edges (Z2) and no base cutting edge. They are therefore not suitable for plunging into the material.
TiCo carbide technology
A specially developed, high-density titanium-cobalt carbide blend, designed and manufactured by Freud. It ensures a sharper cutting edge, a flawless finish and a significantly longer cutting life.
Perma-SHIELD coating
A non-stick coating that withstands even the toughest applications. It provides thermal insulation, protects against corrosion and prevents resin deposits, reducing cleaning times.
